To fulfill each requirement of customers and to meet with international specifications and dimensional standards, we follow stringent quality policy.

Organisation: we have a quality control department handled by a team of Q.C. experts whose work is to maintain all the records & supervision of Q.C. inspectors.

Finishing: After pickling and passivating all pipes, tubes, fitting etc., scale is removed that is formed during forging operations. Finally dimensional check is carried out and recorded.

Marking: After the final dimensional check each fitting is marked for sie, schedule, fitting specification, heat mark & batch number.

Certificate: All of our pipelining components supplied to the purchaser are furnished with manufacturer’s test certificate which includes data i.e. raw material composition, heat treatment done, heat mark, batch number, hardness value, chemical & physical test results, radiography results, size, schedule, specification and quality supplied.

Machining: After final heat treatment process, all the pipelining components are sent for machinning that includes machining operation. All the machining is carries out as required by the codes.

Testing: In this step, three types of testing are performed: tensile testing, hardness testing and impact testing. In tensile testing, sample is taken form the pipelining components in accordance with codes as required by purchaser on univerasl testing machine calibrated & approved by the authorized inspection agencies. In hardnedd testing, results are recorded in seperate register and it is performed on atleast 10% of whole lot.

All Simon Steel products are tested in accordance to internationally recognized standards or our own more stringent internal test procedures, which is developed considering the harsh field conditions. In addition to this we also offer specific testing to our client's requirement.

All the material used for Manufacturing of fittings and other fabrication jobs are tested for chemical & mechanical properties. The Results are confirmed to meet original material requirement before processing. We are using measuring equipments calibrated by Govt. approved calibration Agencies.

All type of Flanges and fittings are checked for dimensional accuracy from raw material stage to in process & final product delivery by using calibrated measuring instruments.

All the material used for Manufacturing of fittings and flanges other fabrication jobs are identified & fully traceable from raw material stage to final product..


ALL COMPRESSORE AND THREADED FITTINGS are subjected to Pneumatic test at 150psi air pressure and 2000psi Nitrogen pressure. Pneumatic/Gas test is carried out after hydro testing and complete drying of the items following Hydro-Test.

Helium Gas Test (HG-TEST) can be offered on request.

All fittings and flanges are tested for pressure cycle test where pressure surges from Opsi to 5000psi. The test is conducted at the rate of 25 to 45 cycles per minute with the digital counter. Client can specify number of cycles and condition of test.

Fittings and flanges are heated to temperature upto 350oC for one complete cycle of 4 hours. After that valves are again subjected to Hydro, Pneumatic and Pressure cyclic test for no leakage. All the above test are certified by our own Quality control department and can be witnessed by client or third party inspection company of client's choice.
